At the 2019 U.S. Open, we teamed up with U.S Open Champion and MB Ambassador Sloane Stephens to bring to our consumers an interactive consumer exhibition. Spectators at the USTA Billie Jean King Center were Abe to try their hand at a virtual lesson from Sloane herself.
We achieved this AR technology experience by capturing the play and style of Sloane and translating the moves into AR. This was activated by verbally asking “Hey Mercedes, Teach me to play like Sloane” and be fully immersed in a short courtside play with a racket in hand to experience a highly personalized (and sometimes comical) 1-on-1 tennis tutorial from a pro.
